A Path Appears
After six months of passionate work and travel with the project "A Path Appears," I'm very excited to finally see the images adopted into the opening credits, editorial stories and a comprehensive social media campaign for the three-part documentary series.
Show of Force, the production team in New York responsible for bringing the intimate stories to life, is no stranger to the world of multi-episode compelling documentary filmmaking. From the Original Half the Sky to the ten hour adrenaline-filled, CARRIER, they have garnered countless Emmy, Peabody and film festival awards. The experience of working with such an esteemed group and emotionally fragile subject matter was challenging, eye opening and profoundly inspiring. Through the process, I met and photographed so many incredible advocates who care deeply about their communities and the well being of women and humanity.
There are so many daunting issues the series covers. I hope that the images captured on location help bring further awareness to them.
